1952: Mr. Giuseppe Butti set up in Valmadrera a foundry for aluminum sand casting (beginning of NPF history)
1959: beginning of die-casting thanks to the purchase of the first machine
1963: The production oriented to the market of die-cast components for electrical motors.
1986: Opening of a new factory (Motor Press) in Bosisio Parini (LC)
1987: Change of company name into Nuova Presso Fondal Spa
1996: Opening of a commercial unit in Spain, named PFI Presso Fondal Iberica
1990: Presentation of new series (called “New Line”) of frames for electrical motors
1994: Buyout of “Motor Press srl” company, which produced a specific range of die-cast components for electrical motors for the German market. This range is still produced.
1997: Introduction of a new range of frames with bolted feet, through which NPF became a leader in the market. This range is still considered as a leading product.
2003: Expansion up to 15.000 m2 of Nuova Presso Fondal’s factory located in Bosisio Parini (LC)
